Are your products handmade?
Yes, every mounted print is handmade in our studio in Sussex, UK. We carefully measure and hand-cut the mount for every one of our vintage prints using traditional equipment - no machines or AI!
What size are your prints?
Each LPS print is mounted to fit one of the standard UK frame sizes below:
8 x 6" // 8 x 10" // 10 x 12" // 11 x 14" // 30 x 40cm
The size of each mounted print is listed in the title and description of the product. This dimension (i.e 8 x 6") refers to the outer edges of the mount, not the aperture window - it's the total size of the product. Each mounted print is an individual one-off or limited edition, so only comes in the size mentioned in the description.
Do you sell framed prints?
No - all LPS mounted prints and posters come unframed. This keeps it fun and affordable, and means that you can choose frames to match your own individual style.
What frames do you recommend?
All LPS mounted prints are designed to fit standard UK frames which can be easily found online and in stores. For our product imagery we've successfully tried and tested frames from Wallspace, Postery, John Lewis, Dunelm, Ikea and PhotoFrameDealer on Etsy.

When buying a frame, be sure that the dimensions are for the total frame size, not the aperture window of the mount inside!
Where do you source your prints?
We source antique, vintage and retro prints from all across the UK in attics, sheds and shops, and at auctions, fairs and sales. Many come from rediscovered vintage art folios, personal collections and broken or unloved old books - hence our name, The Lost Print Shop.
Do you take bespoke orders?
Yes - if you're looking for something niche, particular or super special, please get in touch and we can search our archive to see if we have something that fits the bill. What you see on the website is just a small selection of the huge collection of prints we have waiting in the wings! Alternatively, we can look to source the type of prints you're searching for too.
If you'd like to create a collection of themed prints for a Gallery Wall or interior project, we can similarly put together some ideas from our archives and beyond.
What's your Shipping Policy?
We currently ship within the UK only, via Royal Mail Tracked 48. We aim to dispatch orders within 3 working days for a flat fee of £3.50

My print was damaged/lost in the post - what can you do?
We carefully package all prints with sturdy cardboard for protection, but if your order arrives damaged or gets lost in transit please get in touch right away so that we can look into the issue and work to put things right.

We hope you'll love your LPS purchase, but if you require a refund we offer returns for 14 days after receiving your order.
